Criticising is easy. Creating is hard. If someone pours themselves into making something and you think you can do better, don’t criticize. Create.

Criticizing is easy. Creating is hard. Cheers to the creators 🍻

Many business books are too long. Many online courses are too long. Many blog posts are too long. No one wants to spend *more* time learning. That’s not how you create value. They just want to know what to do so they can get the job done. Cut the filler. Get to the point.

It’s much easier to edit than to start with a blank page. Critiquing is easy. Creating is hard.

It seems like many online course creators think that giving their students *more content* means they’re giving *more value.* Wrong. No one wants more content. They don’t want to learn for the sake of learning. They want faster outcomes. Design for outcomes. Cut the fat.

Create before you consume. Commit to spending your first 30 minutes of the day writing, designing or building stuff—rather than scrolling social. Presto! You just got an extra 2.5 hours back each week.

Don’t be annoyed that your work inspires copycats. That just means that you’re doing some cool ass sh*t. 😎 Stay focused and keep creating.

Course creators: Bragging that your course includes 40+ hours of content is more of a deterrent for me than a selling feature. That's A LOT of time and I'm busy. But, promising to distill 20+ of expertise and painful trial and error into *just* 40 hours? Now you've got me.

It took me 5 days to create a new 1-hour online training. Why so long? The way I look at it, it’s not about filling an hour of airtime. It’s about distilling 10 years of learning into only 60 mins so that participants can leapfrog the years. Very different exercise.
